English Teacher Training Program in Australia

As an experienced ESL English teacher, I'm always asked how native and non-native speakers of English can get the necessary skills and qualifications to teach English overseas. So I thought I'd post this info for everyone interested. This course is ideal for students wishing to return to their own country to seek employment and a teacher or teaching assistant. The program consists of either:

• 4 week course plus an optional 1 or 2 weeks work experience, or,
• an 8 week course plus an optional 1 or 2 week Work Experience Program.

On successful completion of the 4 or 8 week course, students will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement in TESOL.
